Popular Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and his wife have been arrested by Bangalore Police on June 11. Both have been charged with murder. Darshan and his wife have been arrested from a hotel in Bangalore. In this case, the police have also detained 13 other people and started questioning them.
According to the police, actor Darshan’s name has surfaced in the murder of a man named Renukaswamy, who lived in Chitadurga area of Bangalore. Renukaswamy’s body was found in a drain near Kamakshipalya on Sunday. People passing by informed the police about Renukaswamy’s body. According to them, some dogs were dragging the body lying in the drain.
There was a controversy over social media post
The deceased Renukaswamy worked in a pharmacy company. Some time ago, he had made some objectionable comments on actress Pavitra Gowda on a social media post. Both of them had an argument on the post. The police have called Darshan as well as actress Pavitra for questioning.
