Driver loses permit!
Arno from the track: The stewards had to impose a harsh penalty on Steve Brown from the BILSTEIN by BLACK FALCON team (#150) at 00:42 on Thursday night. Brown was punished with immediate disqualification and withdrawal of his DPN (Nordschleife license) for ignoring flag signals (double yellow and Code60 (4th level) as well as significantly exceeding the speed limit (145.5 km/h). His team also has to serve a time penalty of 90 seconds (stop-and-go) in the pit lane after the first lap of the race.
Cup Porsche changed after Marciello accident
Yesterday we were still unsure, but now we know in black and white which car Raffaele Marciello collided with last night: The other car was the #107 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. The RPM Racing team submitted an application to replace the damaged 911, as the damage on the track could not be repaired. The race director gave the green light.
