Mumbai. The auspicious festival of Akshaya Tritiya is about to come. In such a situation, Colors is ready to set out on a captivating journey with its mythological story ‘Lakshmi Narayan Sukh Samarthi Sanchalana’. Colors TV is bringing 3 stories each on this special festival.

These three shows will show unheard stories of Akshay Tritiya. Taking a journey into the world of Hindu mythology, the significance behind this holy day will be highlighted. Depicting the divine journey of the universe’s ideal couple, the show throws light on the little-known traditions associated with the auspiciousness of Akshaya Tritiya by showcasing three interesting stories.

Lakshmi’s birth story
In this serial, Lord Vishnu re-appears annually in his guardian form, Narayana, along with his consort, Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. In the astronomical phenomenon known as ‘Samudra Manthan’ or the churning of the cosmic ocean, various divine beings including gods and demons churned the ocean to extract the nectar. As the churning progressed, many auspicious gems emerged from the depths of the ocean, one of which was Goddess Lakshmi. The audience is also very excited to watch this show with such a story.

Lakshmi’s first visit
Many people do not know about the first ‘Aarti’ of Lakshmi. Which was an offering of lamp light, incense and prayer. Recognizing the importance of Lakshmi’s presence and her role in providing wealth and prosperity to the universe, Lord Vishnu has started the tradition of performing her ‘Aarti’ on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. Using the sacred ‘Akshaya’ vessel filled with sacred water and unbroken rice grains, Lord Vishnu performs the first ‘Aarti’, which is a symbol of devotion and gratitude towards the Goddess of Wealth.

Immortal Kalpa-Tree
Known as the wish-fulfilling divine tree, Kalpa-vriksha is a divine symbol representing abundance, fulfillment and prosperity in Hindu mythology. According to the story of ‘Lakshmi Narayan’, it is believed that the Kalpa-Vriksha originated from the cosmic ocean during the Samudra Manthan. On Akshaya Tritiya, devotees worship the Kalpa-vriksha and seek blessings of prosperity and fulfillment of desires. The show discusses the importance of this divine tree and the traditions associated with its worship. All these shows ‘Lakshmi Narayan Sukh Samity Sammantra’ will be telecast from Monday to Friday at 10 pm, only on Colors.
