After the success of ‘Hiramandi’, now Sanjay Leela Bhansali is ready to work on his old films. In his recent interview, the director talked about his old film ‘Inshallah’ and making Sudhir Ludhianvi’s biopic. Sanjay Leela Bhansali shared his experience of making films during a conversation with Pinkvilla.
He says that he makes films only when he feels the desire to make films from within. Bhansali further said, ‘Now, as soon as the fourth, fifth and sixth films come out, you will know everything. Right now I can’t tell which film I will work on next, I really don’t know what I will make, when I will make it.
He further says, ‘It is a very spontaneous decision that I will make Gangubai, and suddenly, I put the script and say that now I will make ‘Ram Leela’. I may suddenly want to make ‘Inshallah’. It’s about the inner call of the filmmaker, that inner call that comes from within that ‘make this film’.
Bhansali makes every project with all his heart.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali further says, ‘When I work completely on a project, I make it as if this film is most important to me. I put my whole heart into it. I want everything to be right, I cannot make a film just because the script is good or the star cast is good.
Wanted to make ‘Hiramandi’ since 14 years
Talking about his latest release ‘Heeramandi’, Sanjay Leela Bhansali said that he had been preparing for this show for 14 years and had been dreaming of making it for 18 years and now he is happy that he has finally made this show. Made the series.
