Mumbai. The 5th sequel of Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh starrer ‘Housefull’ was announced in December last year. Akshay and Ritesh have been confirmed actors in this. Both have worked together in all four films so far, but there have been changes in other actors. Recently Abhishek Kumar confirmed that he is joining this film again. Before this he was in its third sequel. At the same time, Anil Kapoor’s name was also linked to ‘Housefull 5’. It was being said that he would be seen in a special role in it. But this is not going to happen now.
Anil Kapoor has refused to do ‘Housefull 5’. The reason for this is being said to be fees. According to Mid Day report, Anil is not getting fees as per his work. However, it is not clear how much fee Anil wanted? According to Financial Express, Anil Kapoor had charged Rs 2 crore for ‘Animal’.
‘Housefull 5’ will be released in June 2025.
Arjun Rampal may enter ‘Housefull 5’
At the same time, according to Bollywood Hungama, Arjun Rampal can also be a part of ‘Housefull 5’. Arjun played the role of Major Krishna Rao, who is the elder brother of Deepika Padukone’s character, in the franchise’s first film ‘Housefull’. After this he was not seen in any franchise. Whereas in the later films, actors like John Abraham, Bobby Deol, Mithun Chakraborty were associated.
No change in the shooting schedule of ‘Housefull 5’
It was reported in the reports that even after Anil Kapoor’s departure, there has been no change in the shooting schedule of ‘Housefull 5’. Akshay Kumar came to Mumbai a day earlier to cast his vote and then went back to London. The shooting of Housefull 5 has also been scheduled in UK. However, the shooting of the film will start in August.
‘Housefull 5’ release date
‘Housefull 5’ will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani. In December, along with the announcement poster of the film, the makers wrote, “The credit for the huge success of the Housefull franchise goes to the audience. The story of Housefull 5 is very different and people will definitely like it. It also requires excellent VFX, due to which the release date has been extended. The film will be released in theaters on June 6, 2025.”
