According to the Kremlin, Putin has appointed Andrei Belousov as the country’s Defense Minister in place of Shoigu. Before Andrei, Sergei has been the Defense Minister of Russia since 2012.

However, in the meantime, Russia’s General Staff Chief Valery Gerasimov and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will remain in their posts.
