Before the 2024 season, fans had to fear that the MotoGP in Germany would disappear completely on pay TV. After ServusTV withdrew from Germany, pay channel Sky took over the rights to the premier class of motorcycle racing. But the Servus successor station DF1 received 12 selected races as a live broadcast before the start of the season. Now DF1 is showing even more MotoGP. A new highlight format debuts this Monday and will be shown at all other races.
Every Monday 7:00 p.m.: MotoGP highlights on DF1
The first broadcast begins today at 7:00 p.m. with yesterday’s cracking race from Le Mans. The highlights of the MotoGP Grand Prix on Sunday will be shown in a one-hour format, including the award ceremony. There is no MotoGP sprint, Moto2 and Moto3 to see. A Sky subscription is still required for this.
The highlights are presented by the well-known ServusTV team from Austria, with whom DF1 has been cooperating since the beginning of the season. Christian Brugger and ex-MotoGP rider Alex Hofmann commented. It is moderated by Alina Marzi and Eve Scheer. The experts are Gustl Auinger, Sandro Cortese and Honda test driver Stefan Bradl.
The important thing is: This offer is valid on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. after ALL MotoGP Grand Prix, not just the 12 selected live races from DF1. For example, the French GP was not shown on free TV yesterday. Now fans can experience the highlights of the thrilling three-way fight between Jorge Martin, Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia for free.
