Actor Shreyas Talpade has shared an anecdote related to the film ‘Om Shanti Om’. Shreyas said that he and Shahrukh used to do a lot of improvisation during the shooting. Shreyas said that he liked to do improvisation, so he used to do it often while shooting for ‘Om Shanti Om’.
He also shared this idea with Shahrukh. Shahrukh also started improvising like Shreyas. However, the film’s director Farah Khan was not liking all this. One day he scolded Shreyas and Shahrukh in front of everyone. Let us tell you, when an actor deviates from the script and starts speaking dialogues on his own, it is called improvisation.
Shreyas was a newcomer during ‘Om Shanti Om’
After recovering from heart attack, Shreyas Talpade is again busy with his films and promotions. While talking to Leharen, he said- Farah had seen me in the film ‘Door’. Since then she wanted to cast me in her film. Later he gave me a chance in ‘Om Shanti Om’. I was a newcomer at that time. Was both nervous and excited about working with Shahrukh.

Shreyas further said- I always believed a lot in improvising. Thought of doing the same in ‘Om Shanti Om’. When Shahrukh was told, he also agreed to it. He also started improvising with me. Seeing all this, Farah’s temper rose. He scolded both of us and told us to read only what is written in the script. There is no need to speak dialogues yourself.
