Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan has talked about her family. She also praised her grandmother Sharmila Tagore at an event in Delhi.
Sara said that even though her parents Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh separated 20 years ago, her grandmother has supported her and her mother all her life.
Sara also revealed that Sharmila Tagore shares a special bonding with her mother Amrita Singh.

Grandmother has always supported: Sara
Sara said, ‘If anything happens to me or Ibrahim, I know that Badi Amma (Sharmila Tagore) will never leave my mother Amrita Singh alone.’
Sara further said, ‘I too have gone through such a phase in my life when I was in great need of someone’s support and then Badi Amma stood for me like an army. He has always supported me. Only in difficult times do we understand the true value of relationships.

Saif-Amrita separated after 13 years of marriage
According to reports, Saif and Amrita got married on 27 October 1991. At the time of marriage, Saif was 21 and Amrita was 33 years old.
There was an age difference of 12 years between them and after 13 years of marriage, both of them separated in 2004. Amrita and Saif are parents of two children (Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan).
Later Saif married Kareena Kapoor Khan for the second time. Both have two children Taimur and Jeh. Whereas Amrita did not marry again.
