New Delhi. Veteran Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has recently made his OTT debut with the web series ‘Heeramandi’. This series starring Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Sehgal, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Richa Chadha has received tremendous response from the audience. This series has been in the headlines since its release. Along with the set of this web series directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the acting of all the actresses in ‘Heeramandi’ has also been highly appreciated. Now recently Jason Shah, who was a part of ‘Heeramandi’, has made some important revelations while making serious allegations against the director of the series.
Jason Shah played the role of a British officer in this grand series of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Recently, in an interview given to NDTV, he told that there was an atmosphere of fear on the set of the series and people did not behave well with each other and with him. According to him, he was not treated like other actors on the set.
The actor says, ‘I felt that I was not treated well on the set. I was not even introduced to many people, which I found very strange and I found myself isolated from everyone on the set. All this was very confusing for me.’ He further said, ‘Earlier I used to think that I am a villain, maybe that’s why I am being treated like this. I have to look upset and angry onscreen, so maybe no one is talking to me, but then I thought that my offscreen experience never affects my characters.’
The director had ignored it
Talking about his first meeting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Jason Shah said that his first meeting with the director was very strange. Sanjay did not even talk to him directly. According to the actor, the director came into the room and went away quietly after seeing him.
