An insider associated with ‘Ramayana: Part One’, while talking to Bollywood Hungama, revealed that the makers are making the film on an international level. An estimated mega budget of Rs 835 crore has been fixed for this. The source told the portal, “Namit Malhotra is ready to spend money like water on the ‘Ramayana’ franchise.”
The source says that this will be a film whose visual effects will impress the audience a lot. Ranbir Kapoor played the lead role in the 2022 blockbuster ‘Brahmastra’. The budget of this film was Rs 450 crores. The film had earned more than the budget. Now Ranbir will set a new trend for Hindi cinema with ‘Ramayana’.
‘RRR’, ‘Adipurush’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ have been films with a budget of more than Rs 500 crore. But Ramayana has broken their record. According to the report, the post production work of the film will take 600 days. The shooting of the film started last month. The film is reportedly expected to release in 2026.
