If things had worked out, Piyush Mishra would have been the hero of ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ and not Salman Khan. Recently, Piyush Mishra said that it was good that he did not get ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’. He also said that he has no regrets about not being a part of the film.
During an interview with Zoom, when Piyush Mishra was asked about getting Salman’s offer for ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, he replied, ‘I have no regrets. Nor is it such a big deal. He was given so much importance forcefully. The talk happened when I was studying. It was not like I got the role or I became a star. I talked to Sooraj Barjatya’s father Raj Kumar Barjatya.’
