Talking to Mid Day, producer Deepak Mukut has given an update about ‘Nayak’. He said that the sequel will start from where the story of the film ended. He had purchased the rights of the sequel of the film a long time ago. If everything goes according to plan, Anil and Rani Mukherjee pair will be seen in Nayak 2. The script of the sequel is being written keeping in mind the characters of both. Anil-Rani will once again reprise their roles in the sequel.
This film had earned Rs 10.75 crore at the Indian box office. The Indian box office gross earning of this film was Rs 14.95 crore. Overseas, this film had earned Rs 2.5 crore. The world wide film had collected Rs 17.43 crore. Like Amitabh Bachchan’s film Suryavansham, this film was shown several times on Zee Cinema. People remember each and every scene of this film. Now after a long time, once again the audience will be happy to know the good news regarding this film.
