Mumbai. One of the most popular TV shows is ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. It is one of the longest running TV shows. The show is maintaining its popularity among the audience due to its interesting storyline and attractive characters. Currently, Samridhi Shukla, Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani are playing lead and important roles in the show. Apart from these, the character of another actor is very much liked. The name of the character is Dev Shekhawat, which is being played by Vineet Raina. But Vineet has now decided to leave the show.
Vineet Raina has openly expressed his disappointment with his role in the show. He has decided to quit the show after speaking with the production team. He told ETimes, “When I was narrated the role of Dev Shekhawat, it was interesting and it connected with the public. However, it was not being given much screen space and the track needed to be worked on.”

Vineet Raina further said, “I am not sure what were the reasons for not having enough screen space for Dev Shekhawat.” He said that due to his strong bond with Rajan Shahi’s team, he has left the show with mutual consent. Vineet has many expectations from future projects.
Vineet Raina’s OTT project
According to reports, Vineet Raina is currently shooting for an OTT project in Nigeria. Vineet will be seen in the English romantic comedy ‘On Different Grounds’. He said that the project was a good opportunity, so he did it and decided to move on from ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. He said, “I am proud that I am a part of such an interesting project and I have an important role in it.”
