Imtiaz Ali was wandering around Madhubala’s house in search of a ghost! He was keeping an eye on every corner

Mumbai. Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has made many romantic films. He ruled the hearts of the audience through ‘Rockstar’, ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Love Aaj Kal’. Recently, his Netflix original ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ was released, which is being appreciated a lot. Meanwhile, he revealed that he wants to direct a horror film. He has thought a lot about this. He does not want to just scare people but wants his film to have depth. Imtiaz told that he shot in Madhubala’s old house and also shared the experience related to it.

It is said that Madhubala’s house was haunted by ghosts. Imtiaz shared that he looked at every corner of Madhubala’s house. He doesn’t really believe in ghosts. But during those moments, he felt both scared and happy. Imtiaz also posted a picture of Madhubala on her birthday.

Madhubala’s bungalow was named ‘Kismat’

On Ranveer Allahabadia’s podcast, Imtiaz said, “Madhubala used to have a house called the ‘Kismat’ bungalow. Now it has been renovated. But in the earlier days, they did not allow people to film there at night, and people generally did not want to film there at night because they believed that Madhubala’s ghost haunts the place.”

Imtiaz Ali Khan further added, “Who knows if it was true or not, but that is what people believed. I shot there a lot at night. And I would go alone to the quietest, darkest corner of that house, and I would wonder if Madhubala’s ghost would come. Although I don’t really believe in spirits, I remember that feeling. It wasn’t just scary, but there was a sense of awe and romance. It’s an interesting combination.”
