Actor and Crime Patrol host Anoop Soni has also now become a victim of misuse of Artificial Intelligence (AI). A deep fake video of the actor has gone viral on social media in which he is seen promoting betting.
In this video, footage from Anoop’s show ‘Crime Patrol’ has been used. This video has received approximately 32 million views so far.
In the video, Anoop is seen requesting people to join the Telegram group. This is a group that promotes betting.
Anup himself has reacted to this video and called it fake.
Anoop said- We all should remain alert
Meanwhile, actor Anup Soni himself issued a statement saying, ‘This video is completely fake and the way things are being manipulated these days, we all should remain alert.
With the help of AI, they have copied my voice and speaking style. Also some visuals from Crime Patrol have been used. This is a fraud alert.
Before this, actor Aamir Khan has also become a victim of deep fake video.
Ranveer and Aamir also became victims
Let us tell you that this is not the first time that an actor’s face or voice has been misused through AI. Before this, deep fake videos of actors like Ranveer Singh and Aamir Khan have also surfaced. In this regard, both of them have lodged a complaint in the Cyber Crime Cell of Mumbai Police.
