Anil Kapoor will not be seen in the film Housefull 5. According to media reports, he has left this film due to fees. At the same time, there is also news that Arjun Rampal can become a part of this franchise after 14 years. He played the role of Major Krishna Rao in the franchise’s first film, Housefull.
However, these two things have not been officially confirmed by the makers.
According to Mid Day report, Anil Kapoor and the film’s producer Sajid Nadiadwala could not agree on the fees. Because of this Anil left this film. After this change, the makers are reworking the character of Nana Patekar in the film. Actually, earlier her chemistry was to be shown with Anil Kapoor in the film.
At the same time, according to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Arjun Rampal can join this franchise. However, the makers have not yet officially confirmed this.
The film will be released in 2025
The report further states that despite such a major change in casting, there has been no change in the shooting schedule of Housefull 5. The film’s director Tarun Mansukhani will start shooting it in the UK from August. The film was earlier to be released on the occasion of Diwali this year. But now it will be released in 2025.
The makers had recently issued a statement saying – The credit for the huge success of the Housefull franchise goes to the audience. The story of Housefull 5 is very different and people will definitely like it. It also requires excellent VFX, due to which the release date has been extended. The film will be released in theaters on June 6, 2025.
