Formula E live today: Who is broadcasting the first race and qualifying in Portland on free TV?
The race and qualifying of the Formula E in Portland in Germany can be followed free of charge on the new TV channel DF1. The private channel will broadcast the race live from 11:00 p.m. The preliminary coverage begins with a ten-minute lead-in at 10:50 p.m. DF1 will not broadcast the start of the qualifying, which begins at 6:40 p.m., but will only go on air at 7:20 p.m., 40 minutes after the start of the time trial.
DF1 has taken the place of Servus TV Germany in the free-to-air satellite and cable network. ServusTV has secured the rights to Formula E for Germany and Austria. In a new cooperation with DF1, the races will be broadcast live on the new television channel.
In Austria, Formula E is broadcast on ServusTV, the country’s largest private broadcaster, where, as was the case in Shanghai, the race will not be shown live. ServusTV will only broadcast the Portland ePrix in re-live from 00:15.

ServusTV also broadcasts on its streaming platform called ServusTV On and on ServusTV Motorsport on MagentaTV.
In German-speaking countries, the Formula E races are also broadcast live on the pay-TV channel Eurosport 2. In Germany and Austria, the streaming service discovery+ also offers the training and qualifying sessions live and on demand in addition to the races. Viewers can also watch the free practice sessions on the official website, the official Formula E YouTube channelor the Formula E app with English commentary.
