The WEC race in Sao Paulo begins on Sunday, July 14th at 4:30 p.m. German time and lasts six hours. The finish will therefore be on Sunday evening at 10:30 p.m. There will be two free practice sessions on Friday, followed by another practice session and qualifying for the two classes LMGT3 and Hypercar on Saturday.

Who is broadcasting WEC in Sao Paulo on free TV?
Where can you watch the WEC on TV? Viewers in Germany can watch the race in Sao Paulo live on free TV, although not all of it, but at least parts of it. The sports channel Sport1 will be joining the action live on Sunday at 4:15 p.m. and showing the start of the race. Sport1 will be showing the final phase, including the finish, live on TV from 8:15 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.
WEC fans in Germany can watch almost 3 of the 6 hours of racing on free-to-air television on Sport1. There are no more live broadcasts on free TV without a paywall in this country. Eurosport 2 (pay TV) shows the entire 6 hours of Sao Paulo live on TV.
WEC race 2024 in live stream
The only opportunity for spectators from Germany to watch all WEC races live in 2024 is offered by the paid live stream of the WEC. Each race (except Le Mans) including qualifying costs 8.99 euros. The season pass with all eight races costs 59.99 euros. Free practice sessions 1 and 2 are not included in the offer and can only be followed via live timing.
