MotoGP Barcelona: Enea Bastianini sets warm-up best time

Enea Bastianini was the fastest man on the track in the MotoGP warm-up on Sunday morning in Barcelona. Francesco Bagnaia, Brad Binder and Aleix Espargaro are well behind.

The result: Bastianini was 27 thousandths of a second faster than Pedro Acosta in 1:39.505 minutes. Maverick Vinales finished third ahead of a Ducati quintet of Marc Marquez, Jorge Martin, Franco Morbidelli, Alex Marquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio. Fabio Quartararo and Marco Bezzecchi completed the top ten.

Francesco Bagnaia finished 14th, Brad Binder was 16th. Aleix Espargaro only finished 22nd. Honda wildcard Stefan Bradl finished 23rd and last.

Falls, defects & incidents: The MotoGP stars had everything under control in the warm-up. There were no crashes or off-tracks.

The weather: The MotoGP started its race Sunday in sunshine. 18 degrees outside and 23 degrees on the asphalt were measured during the warm-up. The highest temperatures of the weekend are expected for the Grand Prix in the afternoon: 25 degrees outside are forecast.
