Hector Garzo had a perfect Saturday in the MotoE and also won the second race at the Sachsenring. The Spaniard clearly won the rain battle, which only started late, ahead of Nicholas Spinelli and Jordi Torres, who defeated Oscar Gutierrez in a long battle. Lukas Tulovic did not get past 10th place. Despite the difficult conditions, there was not a single crash.

Eric Granado was unable to participate after a serious fall in the first race at midday.
Due to wet weather, the race had to be postponed several times. After just under an hour and a half, the race was restarted on rain tires, with a shortened distance of 8 laps.
Begin: A decent start despite the adverse conditions. Oscar Gutierrez takes the lead ahead of Hector Garzo and Zaccone.
1 round: Garzo takes the lead in turn 9. Lukas Tulovic is in 10th place.
2nd round:Andrea Mantovani has already fought his way up 6 positions and is now in seventh place. Zaccone falls back and has to let Spinelli and Torres pass. Spinelli is doing well and has also secured second place from Gutierrez.
4th round: The field has slowly sorted itself out. Spinelli is getting closer to Garzo. Behind him, Gutierrez and Torres are fighting for third place. Torres is much faster, but he still can’t find a gap.
5th round: Torres is still stuck behind Gutierrez. Garzo and Spinelli are driving away in front.
6th round: Spinelli can no longer put pressure on Garzo. Things are different with Torres against Gutierrez.
7th and penultimate round: Now Torres has finally done it! He benefits from a small wobble by Gutierrez and goes past.
8th and final round: Garzo and Spinelli remain confident. Gutierrez tries everything to stay close to Torres. But in the end he can’t do anything.
Finish line: Hector Garzo wins the second race of the day ahead of Nicholas Spinelli and Jordi Torres. After a disastrous race at midday, Oscar Gutierrez at least comes fourth this time. Zaccone, Ferrari, Pons, Mantovani and Casadei finish ahead of Lukas Tulovic, who ends up tenth. The last points go to: 11th Roccoli, 12th Pontone, 13th Manfredi, 14th Finello, 15th Zannoni.
