Francesco Bagnaia keeps his clean sheet in Assen! After setting the best times in all three training sessions and taking pole position in qualifying, he also wins the MotoGP sprint at the Dutch TT. Bagnaia celebrates a flawless start-finish victory. Jorge Martin comes second, Maverick Vinales completes the podium. Marc Marquez crashes in the second lap of the sprint and has to give up.
In the World Championship, Bagnaia has reduced his deficit to Martin to 15 points. Marc Marquez is already 44 points behind in third place.

Begin: Bagnaia gets off to a good start and defends his pole position ahead of Martin. Alex Marquez overtakes Vinales, Marc Marquez moves up from seventh on the grid to fifth.
2nd round: Marc Marquez has crashed! He bumps over the kerb on the inside in turn 2 and loses control of his Ducati. The sprint is over for him.
Vinales catches Alex Marquez in the final chicane and is now third.
5th round: Lorenzo Savadori crashes. Luca Marini is also out of the race. He rolls out with a technical defect.
8th round: Bagnaia is serious! He has increased his lead over Martin to more than a second.
9th round: Enea Bastianini is on the rise. He has already made it from eleventh place on the grid to fourth place.
Alex Rins becomes the next victim of a crash in this sprint.
12th round: Long lap penalty for Alex Marquez! The fifth-placed rider exceeded the track limits three times and is therefore penalized.
13th and final round: Aleix Espargaro flies off heavily in turn 15!
Goal: Bagnaia wins comfortably with a lead of 2.355 seconds over Martin. Vinales is third, followed by Bastianini and Di Giannantonio. Binder is sixth ahead of Quartararo and Alex Marquez. Morbidelli takes the last point. Acosta can’t get past P10.
