Francesco Bagnaia starts the MotoGP race Sunday at the Sachsenring with the best time in the warm-up.

The result: Bagnaia was just 0.080 seconds faster than Franco Morbidelli in 1:20.638 minutes. Jorge Martin was third, followed by the Marquez brothers Marc and Alex. Fabio Quartararo was the best non-Ducati rider in sixth, followed by Fabio Di Giannantonio and the Trackhouse riders Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez. Marco Bezzecchi completed the top ten.

Behind them were Brad Binder, Maverick Vinales, Enea Bastianini and Pedro Acosta. Stefan Bradl finished 22nd and last, 1.854 seconds behind.

Falls, defects & incidents: There were no crashes or other incidents during the ten-minute warm-up.

The weather: After the hot sprint Saturday, the Sachsenring was a little cooler again on race Sunday. During the warm-up at 9:40 a.m., the outside temperature was 16 degrees under partly cloudy skies and the asphalt was 24 degrees.
