Lukas Tulovic caused concern on Saturday afternoon in Mugello. The Intact GP rider crashed heavily in turn 15 on the first lap of the MotoE race and remained dazed on the track. The race management had to interrupt the race with a red flag because the German had to be treated on the track.

A short time later, the all-clear was given; ‘Tulo’ was conscious. It is not yet known at this point whether he sustained any injuries and if so, what kind.

Race 1 has not been cancelled for the time being, but according to the race management it will be rescheduled. It is not yet known when the race can be repeated. The (originally) second race is scheduled for 4:10 p.m. in the afternoon.
