Dennis takes part in selected races in BMW’s extensive GT3 commitment. In April of this year he competed with Century Motorsport at the season opener of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup in Le Castellet. Dennis will compete in further endurance races for the British team in the second half of the season behind the wheel of the BMW M4 GT3.

Jake Dennis hopes to defend his title in Formula E
Dennis has to miss the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps because the Belgian endurance classic clashes with his main program in Formula E. This weekend he will be driving an Andretti Porsche at the US double leader in Portland. After ten of 16 races this season, Dennis is in fourth place in the World Championship table with 102 points. The leader is Jaguar’s newcomer Nick Cassidy, who has collected 140 points so far.
Dennis will have his next BMW outing on 01/02. June: He starts alongside Jens Klingmann for Ceccato Racing in the Italian GT Championship. There he represents works driver Max Hesse, who is also competing in the 24 Hours at the Nürburgring. Despite the large factory squad of now 23 drivers, given the large number of GT3 programs, it still happens from time to time that BMW drivers have to step in in different racing series.
BMW boss Andreas Roos: “Dennis is versatile”
“I am very pleased to have Jake Dennis back in our works driver line-up,” BMW Motorsport Director Andreas Roos is quoted as saying in a BMW press release. “He is a great racing driver who is versatile – exactly what we need for our very extensive racing program. In the GT car, Jake Dennis is always a top-class option, and as a Formula E world champion he has also made a difference in other areas of the race “I’ve gained a lot of experience in racing.”
Dennis is considered a highly talented all-rounder in racing, who has already demonstrated his talent in Class 1 prototypes of the DTM – in 2019 in the Aston Martin from R-Motorsport. He has also been working for the Red Bull Formula 1 team as an official simulator driver for many years. In 2023, the 28-year-old was allowed to test an F1 car from the world champion team on the track in Abu Dhabi for the first time.
Dennis: “I am very excited to continue my journey as a BMW M works driver. We have had a great partnership since 2021. I am really looking forward to the races that still await me this season. Hopefully we can fight for victories and podium places.”
