Race Facts: Preview Race 18
The 18th stop of the regular season on the 2024 NASCAR calendar is the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. It is the 53rd edition since 1993 on the intermediate track. In the first four years, the race was on the calendar once and since the 1997 season there have been two races per season. Since 2018, the drivers have only competed in one event over 301 laps.
The 1.058-mile oval in Loudon, New Hampshire, is known as ‘The Magic Mile’. The winner also receives a giant lobster as a bonus. The race covers a distance of 318.458 miles and is divided into three stages of 70, 115 and a final 116 laps. The corners are banked at seven degrees and only two degrees on the straights.

Top 20 after the 17th race of the 2024 season at Iowa Speedway

Christopher Bell remains the leader in our rankings with a narrow lead. Brad Keselowski is also again ahead of Chase Elliott. After the unchanged top three, William Byron gained six positions and is now fourth. Iowa winner Ryan Blaney even jumped up eight positions. The defending champion is now fifth.
Ross Chastain worked his way up to sixth place. Joey Logano was also one of the winners in Iowa. Losers of the week were Kyle Larson, Ty Gibbs and Martin Truex Junior.
New in the top 20 are Josh Berry and Daniel Suarez, who made a comeback. With Berry and Carson Hocevar, two rookies are in the top 20 for the first time. Austin Cindric and Kyle Busch were once again dropped from the rankings.
