ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made a significant announcement on Sunday, stating that the highly anticipated arrival of the inaugural cargo of discounted crude oil from Russia has taken place in Karachi. The oil discharge process is scheduled to commence tomorrow, as confirmed by the Prime Minister.
Taking to Twitter, the Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction in fulfilling yet another promise to the nation. He tweeted, “I am delighted to announce that the first shipment of Russian discounted crude oil has arrived in Karachi as planned. Tomorrow, the process of oil discharge will begin.”
He further stated that this day marks a transformative milestone for the nation, propelling Pakistan towards prosperity, economic growth, and ensuring energy security and affordability. Additionally, this historic moment signifies the establishment of a new bilateral relationship between Pakistan and the Russian Federation.
