Pakistan Navy Conducts Successful Rescue Operation in Arabian Sea

Karachi: The Pakistan Navy rescued six fishermen in the Arabian Sea on Thursday after their fishing vessel, Al Zubair, suffered engine failure and began to flood due to rough sea conditions.

The Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) SAIF was carrying out routine patrolling in the area when it received a distress call from the fishing vessel. The ship swiftly responded to the call and safely rescued the six fishermen.

The fishermen were provided with medical assistance onboard PNS SAIF and were subsequently shifted to Gwadar. The fishermen’s community has lauded the efforts of the Pakistan Navy in saving their lives.

The Pakistan Navy remains vigilant in ensuring the safety of life at sea. The Navy’s presence and monitoring of activities within the Maritime Zones of Pakistan contribute to ensuring the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS).
