Hisaar Foundation Ends the Year on a High Note

Karachi: Hisaar Foundation held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) today, attended by Board members, Council members, and staff. The governors’ report presented during the meeting showcased the Foundation’s accomplishments over the past year. Notably, the Foundation surpassed its project and fundraising targets while deploying innovative hand-operated ultrafiltration systems in remote areas. It also successfully organized the 6th Karachi International Water Conference and conceptualized the National Water Panel, set to launch globally in November 2024.

The Adopt a School program gained significant traction, and the Community Ponds concept was embraced by the Ministry of Climate Change (MoCC) through the Living Indus initiative. A highlight of the year for Hisaar Foundation has been the completion of the grey structure of the Panjwani-Hisaar Water Institute, where Master’s courses have already begun, despite facing challenges posed by inflation and rising costs.

As one of the few organizations delivering exceptional service in the water sector for two decades, Hisaar Foundation has established a global reputation, earning respect as a vital player in tackling the challenges of climate change in Pakistan.

Looking ahead, Hisaar Foundation remains dedicated to ensuring sustainable water management and access to clean water for all, continuing its essential work in addressing Pakistan’s pressing water challenges through innovative solutions and community-driven initiatives.
