Zeenat Aman’s comeback series hangs in balance! Makers accused of not making payment, director said- for big artists…

Mumbai. Zeenat Aman is returning to the acting world after a long time. She is going to make an onscreen comeback with the web series ‘Show Stopper’. She has shot in Bhopal, Indore and Mumbai. This series is based on the issue of bra fitting. About 80 percent of women in the world wear the wrong size bra throughout their lives, which causes them serious health problems. This problem will be told through a love story in which Zarina Wahab, Shweta Tiwari and Saurabh Raj Jain will be seen in important roles along with Aman and Kiran Kumar.

This Zeenat Aman starrer series was recently in the news due to alleged financial problems. There were reports that the shooting of the series had stopped and the money of the financiers was not being returned. Apart from this, the writer-director of the series Manish Harishankar has been accused of not paying taxes, which raised doubts about his financial activities.

When News18 Showsha contacted Manish Harishankar, he dismissed such reports as baseless. He also condemned reports that the actors have not been paid their dues and the shooting is incomplete.

Manish Harishankar exclusively told us, “I just want to tell you that all the speculations and rumours about the payments are not true. In fact, we have paid the main actors in full. The production’s payments are also 90-95 per cent clear.”

Talking about being busy with post-production and having meetings with OTT platforms, he said, “We have just completed dubbing with all the actors and post-production is also going on in full swing at the moment. We will soon decide the release date of the series. We are going to join hands with a good platform soon.
