A few days ago, John Abraham got angry at a journalist at the trailer launch of ‘Veda’. Now he has spoken openly on this matter and also told how he has faced all kinds of criticism in the last several years. He was even criticized on the ‘Koffee with Karan Show’.
On Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast show, John Abraham said, ‘Ever since I came into the industry, I have been told that you cannot do it. John Abraham cannot do it, but I did it, why only Coffee with Karan? At that time there were many film magazines. An editor had brought out a special issue that John Abraham is over. I was on the cover. He interviewed distributors, exhibitors, producers, directors, actors and female actors, everyone. Almost everyone agreed that I am finished (career is over). That same editor is my producer today.’
There is no reason to be evil
He further said, ‘I never questioned why you did this. He himself said that I do not want to see you succeed. I asked why, then he said just like that. There is no reason behind this.’ John Abraham was asked what did he learn about life from this experience? In response, the actor said, ‘I learned that there are people who probably do not have any reason. To be honest, there may be many problems in their house. There is toxicity inside them.’
You need to focus on your work
John Abraham said, ‘You can see that today people say bad things in their comments. There is no reason behind this, they will just sit and say bad things about you. In such a situation, you just have to focus on your work. Similarly, I focused on my work. I always say that I am like a horse wearing blinkers. I wear blinkers and only look ahead. People will criticize.’
