Manoj Kumar had sold not only his bungalow in Delhi but also the land in Juhu, Mumbai, on which he once wanted to build a cinema hall. He played the lead role in the film along with Dilip Kumar, Shashi Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Hema Malini, Parveen Babi.
