Mumbai. Arbaaz Khan’s popular podcaster ‘The Invincibles’ started on YouTube last year. In the first episode of this chat show, he interviewed his father, script writer Salim Khan. This talk show was quite popular. In this, Salim talked about his personal life, his relationship with Helen while being married, and his behavior with marriage and children. Now an uncut version of this interview has been released. In this, Salim Khan can be seen talking about second marriage and boarding school for children.
Arbaaz Khan asked his father about his marriage with Salma Khan. He also asked how he brought both the families together during the challenge? Arbaaz asked Salim Khan why he (Arbaaz) and Salman Khan were sent to boarding school while Helen was in a relationship?
Salim Khan said that he did not want any kind of hindrance in the education of Arbaaz and Salman. He said, “Obviously, both of you would have been upset, which would have affected your studies. But I brought you back after 2 years.”
Arbaaz Khan then asked his father how he handled the situation without abandoning any family. Salim replied, “At that time, it was very important that everyone understood my intentions, my children, family members, everyone knew that I did not want to abandon the family or Helen. Your mother Salma was the first to accept Helen and slowly everyone started living together.”
Salim also said that many people have tried to portray such a relationship in films and in real life, but it is very difficult to give equal importance to both sides. “That is what makes it so challenging,” he said. Salim Khan married Sushila Charak in 1964, who later changed her name to Salma Khan. They have three sons – Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan. Salim Khan married Helen in 1981.
