Lucknow: The 16th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati has started and people are winning lakhs of rupees by answering the questions. In this episode, a person from Unnao in UP did something during the show that even the show host Amitabh Bachchan became emotional. Farmer and student Sudhir Kumar came as a participant in the show on August 14. During this, he also told the story of his family’s struggles. Meanwhile, Sudhir asked for such a thing from Amitabh Bachchan, for which Amitabh Bachchan refused and said that he would give it to him as a gift.
Sudhir Kumar told Amitabh Bachchan his touching story. Sudhir Kumar is a resident of Unnao, a small village in Uttar Pradesh. He said that his village as well as the people of his village need recognition. On the other hand, Sudhir prefers to stay here because he does not want to leave his parents. He actively helps his father in the work of his village.
When Big B asked how big his father’s land is, Sudhir said, “Sir, there is only 2 bigha land. We can hardly earn anything from it. So when we have to do farming, we borrow land from others and try to survive with that income. So I would like to win a good amount and buy land for my father.”
When Amitabh Bachchan further asked about the price of the land, Sudhir said, ‘The price of the land I have will be around Rs 12 lakh.’ During the episode, contestant Sudhir came to Big B and said, “Sir, I have a request, if we can take these Charan Padukas to our village, our life will be blessed sir. To this Amitabh Bachchan said, ‘Well, it is like this, I cannot give this, I am already wearing this, I will give you another one as a gift.’
Amitabh Bachchan also asked about his current salary to which Sudhir said that he is not earning anything at the moment. Meanwhile, his father earns Rs 45,000 per year, which is equivalent to about Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 every month.
