New Delhi. The post-mortem of Anuj Thapan, the accused who committed suicide in the custody of Mumbai Police in the Salman Khan firing case, will be conducted once again. This order has been given by the Punjab and Haryana High Court. His post-mortem has already been done but this time it has been said that it will be done under the supervision of the Medical Board. It was told that a medical board will be formed in GGS Medical College in Faridkot, under whose supervision the post-mortem will be conducted. This order of the court has come on the petition of the relatives of the deceased.
This post-mortem will be done within two days of receiving the copy of the order of Punjab and Haryana High Court. Anuj had committed suicide in police custody. After that the family had again demanded the post-mortem. Anuj’s parents had filed a petition in the High Court regarding this demand. It was filed on behalf of Anuj’s mother.
What is the allegation of the family members?
Last month, on April 14, there was firing outside Salman Khan’s house. In this case, the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police had arrested Anuj Thapan from Punjab as a module providing weapons. After this, he committed suicide when he got the opportunity while in police custody. Anuj’s family members allege that he cannot commit suicide. His daughter has been murdered in police custody.
