New Delhi: ‘The Kashmir Files’ director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is now busy preparing for his next film ‘The Delhi Files’. Due to this, he is doing detailed research so that there is no lack of facts. Vivek Agnihotri shared a post on his X account on Wednesday, July 31, in which he wrote, ‘Why is caste census a sinister political ploy?’
The filmmaker wrote in his post, ‘I am very busy with my film ‘The Delhi Files’, so I am not able to keep a close eye on what is happening in politics. Last night I heard Rahul Gandhi’s speech, in which a big problem was seen. If there was genuine concern for castes, I would have understood it, but all this is just to divide Hindu votes and gain power. PM Modi is at the center of this dangerous campaign, not caste. It is focused on Modi, not caste. So this is not true, it is frightening, for some reason.’

Vivek listed five reasons for this. In the first reason, he wrote, ‘When the BJP started the Ram movement, it was both political and ideological. People of BJP and RSS are like this. They fought with passion and won, which united all Hindus, which was good for the country.’
Vivek wrote in the second reason, ‘Rahul Gandhi’s caste census campaign reminds us of VP Singh’s dangerous Mandal Commission campaign. Raja Saheb VP Singh played this dangerous political gamble in the name of caste to save his power, even though he did not have full faith in it. The result was that the society was forever divided on the basis of caste.’
Vivek wrote in the third reason, ‘Rahul Gandhi has nothing to do with caste issues, all this is fake, whose aim is to grab power. Rahul Gandhi is not sympathetic towards castes, but is only doing politics in the name of caste. This campaign will create fights, anarchy and chaos. It will further divide the society. This is what urban Naxals want.’
Rahul Gandhi compared to Jinnah and VP Singh
Vivek wrote in the fourth reason, ‘For the last five years, we have been researching the partition of India for ‘The Delhi Files’. I have learned that Jinnah was secular and Gandhi was against caste-religion politics. But when Jinnah could not challenge Gandhi’s popularity, he played the religion card and divided India. Rahul Gandhi is repeating what Jinnah and VP Singh did. This is the easiest trick in politics.’
Vivek Agnihotri’s appeal to Hindus
Vivek wrote in his last and fifth reason, ‘Hindus should never forget that India is our everything. India will develop only when we are united. India will be safe and strong only when we all are united. In the last decade, we have become more united than ever before. 100 years of sacrifice have been made for this. Do not lose this unity. This is not a test of Narendra Modi, this is a test of every Hindu. Please do not fail in this.’
