New Delhi: Bollywood actor Vijay Verma had to apologize to fans after sharing a ‘shocking’ post. On the completion of two years of the release of the film ‘Darlings’, Vijay Verma shared a condolence message about the death of his character in the film. This condolence message was also a part of the Netflix film. The actor convinced the fans that he had passed away. As soon as the fans came to know the truth of the post, they expressed their displeasure in the comment section.
The new post showed the news of the death of Vijay’s character Hamza Abdul Sheikh. ‘RIP’ was written under a photo of Vijay, which really scared the fans. The post also read, ‘Tragic demise. Hamza Abdul Sheikh, a loving husband, beloved son-in-law.’ Vijay shared the post and wrote, ‘It’s been two years since your beloved Hamza left for heaven. Miss you Hamza darlings… no.’

Fans wrote in the comment section that the post left them in shock. One fan admitted, ‘Scared me for a second.’ Another user wrote, ‘The way of doing the ad is a bit deathly.’ The third user wrote, ‘I suddenly had a small heart attack.’ Vijay apologized to fans in the comment section. He said, ‘Sorry guys, I did not intend to scare you. This is the original screen grab of the film! It was a dark comedy so is the post.’ Darlings featured Vijay Verma, Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah and Roshan Mathew. The film was released directly on OTT. It was streamed on Netflix and became a huge success. The film won several awards. It is directed by new director Jasmeet K Reen.
