TV’s ‘Lakshman’ got angry at the people of Ayodhya, accused them of betraying BJP, said: ‘They should be ashamed’

New Delhi. The results of the victory that BJP had expected in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 did not come as expected. At the same time, the biggest setback for BJP came from Ayodhya, where the party had to face defeat. Due to this, Sunil Lahri, i.e. ‘Lakshman’ of the TV serial ‘Ramayana’, looked very angry. He has expressed his anger on the people of Ayodhya by posting on this matter.

Let us tell you, it was under the leadership of BJP that the Ram temple was inaugurated in Ayodhya in January this year. However, when the results of the Lok Sabha elections were declared on June 4, BJP’s Lallu Singh lost the Faizabad Lok Sabha seat to Samajwadi Party candidate Awadhesh Prasad.

Meanwhile, Sunil Lahri, upset with this, expressed disappointment over the results of the Ayodhya elections on his Instagram stories. He accused the people of Ayodhya of ‘betraying their king’ and called them ‘selfish’. Sunil said, ‘We are forgetting that these are the same people of Ayodhya who doubted Devi Sita after she returned from exile. What do you call a person who even denies God? Selfish. History is witness that the citizens of Ayodhya have always betrayed their king. Shame on them.’

Lahri shared another post on Instagram Stories in which she wrote, ‘People of Ayodhya, I salute your greatness, when you did not spare Mother Sita, then what is the big deal in deceiving those who took Ram out of the tent and enthroned him in a grand temple. I salute you a million times.’

There itself, Sunil Lahri Arun Govil, who played the role of ‘Shri Ram’ in the TV serial ‘Ramayana’, also entered the electoral fray this time. He contested the Lok Sabha elections from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh and won by a margin of 10,585 votes against Samajwadi Party candidate Sunita Verma.
