He shares his views on every issue related to political, social and films. Amidst all this, he has shared a post on his ex account, in which he has revealed that his daughter is facing a lot of difficulties in making Aadhaar card.
Hansal Mehta wrote, ‘My daughter has been trying to apply for an Aadhaar card for the last 3 weeks. She braves the rain to reach the Aadhaar office in Andheri East. She reaches early on time and the senior manager there sends her back with some excuse or the other. Get this signed, take this document, the stamp is not in the right place, you don’t have an appointment today, I am on a week’s leave… etc. This is very annoying. I call it nothing less than harassment.
Hansal Mehta has also tagged the Unique Identification Authority of India and the official X account of Aadhaar in his post. His post has gone viral. Netizens are commenting and reacting to his post.
Reacting to Hansal Mehta’s post, a netizen pointed to his show Scam 1992. The user wrote- ‘He needs to comply with the documents! There is no scam here Mehta ji!’ To this Hansal replied, ‘Really? Getting a government official to put his stamp a little higher is a compliance parameter? Stop this nonsense’
Another wrote, ‘Common man’s life is always cumbersome due to the corrupt ecosystem, but you are a powerful person, you don’t know what is the problem here.’ Hansal replied, ‘I am not a powerful person for your information. I am a common middle class citizen of this country. I deserve better treatment.’
