The set of this Akshay Kumar film got damaged due to heavy rain, the director had to stop shooting

New Delhi. Akshay Kumar is going to make a strong comeback on the big screen with the ‘Welcome’ franchise. This is a multi-starrer film, whose shooting has been going on in full swing for the last few months. But now the shooting of ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ has stopped because a part of the set has been damaged due to rain. Director Ahmed Khan says that now he will start shooting with the star cast after the set is built.

According to the report, the set of ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ has been damaged due to heavy rains in Mumbai. The makers had prepared a big set for the shooting of the film in the first week of August 2024. 34 actors including Akshay Kumar were to shoot in this schedule. Also, a song was to be shot.

The set is being remodeled
It is being told that these days the crew is working very hard to rebuild the set. According to Pinkvilla’s report, director Ahmed Khan said, ‘Unfortunately, due to heavy rains in Mumbai, a part of the set has been damaged. So I have decided to start shooting after the set is rebuilt. The crew is constantly engaged in building the set. Hopefully, we will start shooting soon.’
