New Delhi. Bollywood actress Mandira Bedi’s husband Raj Kaushal passed away three years ago. Mandira Bedi was devastated after losing her husband, but with time she somehow managed to handle herself. She said that she suffered a lot in the first year, but then things got easier. Mandira has spoken openly for the first time on her husband’s death and told that she still misses Raj Kaushal a lot, but now she has made herself strong and is now focusing on her family.
During an interview with Humans of Bombay, Mandira Bedi said, ‘Of course I and my children miss him every day. It is not that we have forgotten him. The first year was very, very difficult. First birthday, first anniversary, first Diwali, first Christmas, first New Year. The second year became a little easier and the third year became even easier.’
‘I have to support my family and myself’
Mandira Bedi further said, ‘As a human being we always work to move forward. Now I can talk about this. It makes me emotional, but now I can. There was a time when I could not talk, but I will not break down. I started working only two months after this incident. I have to support my family and myself. I have to do this for my children.’

‘I can’t listen to Kishore Kumar’s songs’
The actress told that there are some things which she still finds difficult to do. She said, ‘I have had his car for 6 years and I have to sell it now. I was keeping it for emotional reasons and now when it is gone, I will cry. I have dealt with a large part of it, but will always mourn for the rest of my life. One thing I still cannot do is that I cannot listen to Kishore Kumar’s music.’
Raj Kaushal passed away in the year 2021
Let us tell you that Mandira Bedi’s husband Raj Kaushal died in the year 2021 at the age of 50 due to a heart attack. He was a director by profession. He directed films like ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi’, ‘Shaadi Ke Laddu’.
