Actor Imran Khan, who made his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’, has been away from films for a long time. It was very difficult to convince the family members
Once the news was published that Imran takes drugs, after reading the news his family members were saying that Look at what is being said about you in the media. They have posted your photo, they are saying that you take drugs…what is all this going on?
Imran says that after such news, he used to explain to his parents that all that is being written is not true. I used to explain to them that I cannot control such things. People write whatever comes to their mind, without thinking about the impact it will have on the lives of others. There used to be a lot of talk in his house about this rumour. The actor said that it was not so easy for him to handle this situation.
Why was a press release never issued?
Imran was asked why he never issued a press release to clarify. On this Imran said that he had no interest in clarifying. He said- just because those people are saying something does not mean that it is true. Why should I clarify to people whom I do not know. I do not care about them so much that I can correct you or tell you the truth. I do not know who you people are.
Aamir produced Imran’s first film
Imran’s debut film ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’, released in 2008, was also produced by his uncle Aamir Khan. After this, both of them also worked together in ‘Delhi Belly’ released in 2011. Both these films were hits at the box office.
As a child actor, Imran was also seen in two of Aamir’s films ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ and ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar.’
