According to Box Office India, the makers had spent Rs 4.75 crore in making Govinda’s ‘Raja Bhaiyya’. But the total earning of the film worldwide was only Rs 2.58 crore. Raja Bhaiyya proved to be the biggest disaster film of the year 2003.
