Sunny Deol, who made a tremendous comeback with Gadar 2, has recently been accused of fraud and forgery. These allegations have been made against him by producer Saurav Gupta. Saurav alleges that Sunny had signed a film with him years ago. According to the contract, Sunny was to be given 1 crore advance, but he took Rs 2.5 crore. Then later he tampered with the contract and arbitrarily increased the fees and profit sharing amount.
Recently, while talking to Hindustan Times, real estate developer turned producer Saurav Gupta told that he had signed Sunny Deol for a film in 2016. He had taken Rs 1 crore in advance for the film, but instead of starting the film, he started asking for more money. Sunny Deol’s fee for playing the lead role in the film was fixed at Rs 4 crore.
Recently Saurav Gupta held a press conference with lawyer and director Sunil Darshan.
Producer Saurav said, we gave him Rs 1 crore advance, but instead of starting our film he started shooting for Poster Boys (2017). He kept asking us for more money and thus we gave him Rs 2.55 crore. On his insistence I paid the director, booked Filmistan studio and also hired an executive producer.

He further said that in 2023, Sunny Deol had made a fake agreement with his company. Saurav Gupta claims that when he saw that agreement, he realized that the amount mentioned in the contract had been changed. Instead of 4 crores, the fee was written as 8 crores, while the profit amount was made 2 crores.
Director Sunil Darshan also made allegations against Sunny
In this matter, Sourav Gupta has received the support of director Sunil Darshan. Sunil Darshan, who has directed films like Andaaz, Jaanwar, supported Sourav Gupta in the press conference and said, Sunny Deol bought the overseas distribution rights of my film Ajay (1996) and made only a nominal payment. He has not paid the remaining amount till now.
No official statement has been issued by Sunny Deol or his team in this matter. Let us tell you that Sunny Deol made a comeback with the 2023 film Gadar 2. He will soon be seen in films like Border 2 and Lahore 1947.
