Rajkumar Rao starrer film Srikanth collected Rs 4 crore on the second Sunday of its release. By the end of the second weekend, the total earning of the film has reached Rs 26.1 crore. After Srikanth, now Rajkumar Rao’s second film Mr. and Mrs. Mahi is also ready to hit the theatres. This film starring Rajkumar and Janhvi Kapoor will be released on May 31. This film will be based on the background of cricket. Apart from this, Rajkumar also has the film Stree-2. This film will be released in theaters on 30 August 2024.

Rajkumar Rao was not sure about the theatrical release of Srikanth. They wanted the film to come directly on OTT. However, it was producer Bhushan Kumar’s belief and intention that the film should be released in theatres. He said this in an interview given to Dainik Bhaskar. Bhushan Kumar told that he was very impressed by the success of 12th Fail. Thinking this, he decided to release Srikanth in theaters also.
