Actually, PM Modi had reached Apulia in Italy to attend the G-7 summit, where Georgia Meloni welcomed him with folded hands and said Namaste. This is PM Modi’s first foreign visit after becoming Prime Minister for the third time.

During the meeting, Meloni made a video with PM Modi and shared it on her X handle on Saturday, in which she is seen laughing and saying, ‘Hello from Team Melodi’. During this, happiness can be clearly seen on the faces of both the leaders. PM Modi again shared this video of Meloni on his X and wrote, ‘India-Italy friendship amar rahe!’

This is not the first time Meloni has shared a selfie with Prime Minister Modi. Last December, during the World Climate Action Summit (COP28) held in Dubai, she shared a selfie and wrote in the caption, ‘Good friends at COP28.. hashtag Melody’
