Last night, a special screening of Kartik Aaryan’s film ‘Chandu Champion’ was held at Jio World Center in BKC, Mumbai. Many stars from the film industry attended this screening. Many stars including Sunil Shetty, Vidya Balan, Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey, Shanaya Kapoor, Alaya F came to watch the film. Apart from this, people associated with the film were also present. Apart from Kartik Aaryan, the film’s director Kabir Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala also reached the special screening.
The special thing is that Murlikant Petkar, on whom the film is based, also attended the screening. The film Chandu Champion tells the story of his courage.

Kartik Aaryan, who always plays comic and romantic roles, is seen in a biographical drama film for the first time. His hard work is clearly visible in the role of Muralikant Petkar. The film begins in the 1950s. A boy named Muralikant Petkar (Kartik Aaryan) is born in a small village in Maharashtra. He has only one dream since childhood – to win a medal for the country in the Olympics. He is a fan of Dara Singh, so he starts wrestling. However, his family members do not like Murali’s wrestling. Even some elite people of the village do not want to see Murali progress.
Muralikant runs away from the village. While running, he boards a train. In that train, Murali meets a man named Garnail Singh, who is going to join the army. He advises Murali that if he wants to go to the Olympics, he should first join the army. Murali accepts his advice and joins the army. After some time, he realizes that there is no sport like wrestling in the Olympics, so he focuses on boxing, a similar competition. Muralikant starts training under Ali Sir (Vijay Raj). This Ali Sir plays the biggest role in Murali’s success.
Meanwhile, Muralikant, Garnail Singh and Ali Sir are posted in Kashmir. This is when everything changes. Pakistan’s army suddenly attacks. Muralikant gets hit by 9 bullets in this war, but he survives. However, his dream of going to the Olympics seems incomplete because half of his body becomes paralyzed.
Meanwhile, Muralikant meets Ali Sir again. Ali Sir once again instills hope in Murali. If not boxing, he encourages Murali to represent India in swimming.
