New Delhi: Anand Ahuja gifted Sonam the first edition of Nobel Prize winner Rabindranath Tagore’s book of poems ‘Gitanjali’, which was published in 1910. Actress Sonam Kapoor shared a picture of this book on her Instagram stories. She also wrote a note to thank her husband.
Sonam wrote, ‘Birthday gift from my husband… the first copy of ‘Gitanjali’ written by Tagore, translated into English. Thank you Anand Ahuja, I don’t know what I did to deserve you.’ Sonam married Anand Ahuja in 2018 after dating for nine years. The couple welcomed their first son Vayu into the family in 2022.

Kareena Kapoor Khan’s special birthday wish
Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has worked with Sonam in the film ‘Veere Di Wedding’, has also shared a monochrome picture in her Instagram stories, in which both the actresses are posing smilingly towards the camera. Kareena wrote, ‘Happy birthday, darling. I love you, may you have lots of happiness.’ Apart from Kareena and Sonam, ‘Veere Di Wedding’, released in the year 2018, also stars Swara Bhaskar, Shikha Talsania, Sumit Vyas, Vishwas Kini and Neena Gupta. The film is the story of four young friends who are facing many problems in their family and romantic relationships.
Made her debut with ‘Saawariya’
Sonam made her debut with Bollywood’s brilliant and superhit director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Saawariya’ (2007). Before working in ‘Saawariya’, Sonam had assisted Sanjay in the 2005 film ‘Black’. Let us tell you that Sonam Kapoor is also very active on social media. She keeps sharing her photos and videos with her fans on her Insta handle every day.
