Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have not yet made an official announcement of their wedding but many details related to it are coming out. According to a report by Zoom, the two will have a registered marriage on June 23, followed by a wedding party.
Sonakshi’s friend told Zoom, ‘I have received an invitation to attend the wedding celebrations on June 23. As far as I know, both of them will have a registered marriage on the morning of June 23. There is no mention of the wedding rituals in the invitation, it is only written about the party.
Sonakshi and Zaheer often share photos and videos on social media.
Many celebs will attend the wedding party
According to media reports, many celebs from Bollywood will attend the wedding party. The guest list includes the names of Ayush Sharma, Huma Qureshi, Varun Sharma, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badusha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Sehgal to whom wedding invites have been sent. It is being said that the wedding party will be held at Shilpa Shetty’s famous restaurant Bastian which is located in Bandra West, Mumbai.
Sonakshi’s brother reacted
When Sonakshi’s brother Luv Sinha was asked about the marriage, he said, ‘I am out of Mumbai and I do not have any information about this.’
Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha also said that he has no information about the wedding. In an interview to Zoom, Shatrughan said, ‘I am in Delhi right now. I am here since the election results. So far, I have only as much information about my daughter’s wedding as I have read in the media. I have not yet spoken to Sonakshi about this. Nor has she given me any information about this till now.’
Shatrughan further said, ‘Whenever Sonakshi talks to me about this, my blessings will be with her. We want her to get all the happiness in the world. Right now, all I can say is that nowadays children do not take the consent of their parents, they just inform them. We are also waiting for when we will be told about this marriage.’
Zaheer’s father is a friend of Salman Khan. Zaheer himself has been close to Salman since childhood.
Who is Zaheer Iqbal?
36-year-old Zaheer Iqbal made his debut in 2019 with the film ‘Notebook’. After this, he appeared in Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi starrer ‘Double XL’ in 2022. In a career spanning 6 years, Zaheer has worked in both these films which flopped. According to media reports, Zaheer and Sonakshi met at a party of Salman Khan, after which both started dating each other.
