New Delhi. Farida Jalal is in the news these days due to the web series ‘Heeramandi’. In this series, the veteran actress has once again shown brilliant acting. She has worked with Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan in films like ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai’, ‘Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge’. In most of these films, the actress played the role of Shahrukh and Salman’s mother, but in a recent interview, she told that now she is not in connection with these superstars.
Talking about her bonding with Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan, Farida Jalal said that the actors have changed their numbers due to which they are no longer in connection with anyone. Farida said in an interview with India Today, ‘No, I am not in touch with them. How can I connect with them? They have changed their phone numbers.’
The actress further said that when she had shoulder surgery, she had gone to Shah Rukh Khan’s doctor and at that time King Khan had called her and asked about her well-being. Without mentioning the year, the actress said that during that time, Shah Rukh had also helped her a lot. Farida Jalal told that she tried many times to call King Khan, but every time she failed.
shahrukh is not picking up the phone
She says, ‘No one picks up the call on the number I have for him. Many times I want to call him and tell him that you did a great job. Your films are doing very well, but I have to go through his secretary because I don’t have his number and if his secretary doesn’t behave well then what will I do?’
